If you are a First Year – welcome to Cape Town. Obviously you have come here for more than just studies – we hope you have an awesome time exploring our city! There are amazing beaches, mountains, restaurants, music venues and much more. We also hope that you feel welcome at Jubilee Community Church and that it becomes your home away from home.

While you’re studying in Cape Town, Jubilee is a great place to be. There are loads of things going on – from social events to mission trips to leadership training. It is a place where you can meet with God, where worship is passionate and unashamed, and where you can hear sound biblical teaching.



It’s also a place that you can hopefully call ‘home’. There are lots of people of all ages to get to know. Such friendships might seem intimidating at first but the relationships you develop will be part of your life for years. Who knows, you may even meet your future partner here!

Being part of a local church, however, is not just about friends, good teaching and music. We love the fact that we can also give to each other and by doing so grow in maturity and intimacy with God! We have Life Groups running each week in homes and residences across Cape Town. These are small groups of people who gather to build relationships and encourage one another. There is usually prayer, worship and some bible study. This is where you really get the opportunity to build great friendships.
